Manitoba issued 20 invitations to Ukrainian candidates

)n June 21, 2022, the Government of Manitoba held the fifth draw for Ukrainian candidates. In this draw, the province invited 14 candidates through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program

(MPNP). To be eligible, applicants must be a Ukrainian citizen, have a minimum of CLB 4 in each language band, have connections to the province (close relative, family-like, community, previous

employment or studies in Manitoba), and score at least 60 points, and possess a valid language test in one of the official languages. In total, the province invited 134 Ukrainian nationals. In 2022,

Alberta invited 150 candidates and updated the AAIP inventory

On June 21, 2022, Alberta published the update of the inventory of the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP).

There were around 1,100 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications and 575 Expressions of Interest in the Alberta Express Entry pool.

In addition, on June 16, 2022, Alberta held a new round in the Alberta Express Entry Stream and issued 150 Notifications of Interest (NOI).

The lowest score in this round was 306 points, 76 points fewer than it was in the previous draw. In 2022, Alberta has already invited 2,200 candidates.

Prince Edward Island issued 136 invitations in June 2022

On June 16, 2022, Prince Edward Island conducted a new invitation round in the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP).

In the sixth round of the year, the province issued 127 invitations to apply to skilled workers in the Labour Impact and Express Entry streams.

PEI also invited 9 candidates to the Business Work Permit Entrepreneurs stream. The lowest score for business candidates was 65 points, 3 points more than it was in the May draw.

This year, PEI invited 826 candidates. The next PEI PNP draw is scheduled for July 21, 2022.

IRCC invited 932 candidates through Express Entry

On June 8, 2022, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 932 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) in the new PNP- targeted draw. In round #224, the cut-off score was 796 points, 55 points more compared to the previous PNP draw. The tie-breaking rule for this round was October 10, 2021 at 17:13:17 UTC. As of June 3, 2022, there are 215,316 profiles registered in the Express Entry pool, 4,223 fewer compared to the previous update.
