Manitoba issued a record number of invitations

On December 15 and 16, 2022, Manitoba held 2 invitation rounds in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).

In round #161, the MPNP issued 1,030 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) in the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, with a minimum score of 600.

In round #162, the MPNP issued 155 LAAs in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream.

The minimum score to get the LAA in this category was 771 points, 4 points fewer than the previous draw.

In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, Manitoba issued 48 LAAs. The lowest score in the SWO category was 703 points, 103 points more than in round #161.

In addition, Manitoba invited 46 candidates in the International Education Stream.

In total, in these draws, Manitoba has issued LAAs to 1,279 candidates, including 692 Express Entry candidates. MPNP has invited 7,355 candidates in 2022, and 1,943 received invitations in the Express Entry.

Saskatchewan invited new skilled candidates under the SINP

On December 15, 2022, Saskatchewan conducted new rounds of invitations in the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).

In the Express Entry category, Saskatchewan issued 348 ITAs. Another 285 invitations were issued to the Occupations In-Demand category candidates.

The lowest score in both categories was 82 points, 13 points more than in the previous draw.

In addition, the SINP also invited 2 Ukrainian candidates with a minimum score of 62. All invited candidates had Educational Credential Assessments.

In this draw, Saskatchewan invited candidates under 119 different NOCs. This year, Saskatchewan has already invited 10,435 candidates.

BC invited up to ten business candidates

On December 13, 2022, British Columbia held new draws for business candidates in the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). In the Base Category of the Entrepreneur Stream, BC PNP invited up to five candidates.

The lowest score of this round was 116 points, 4 points fewer than the previous draw.

n addition, the province invited fewer than 5 candidates in the Entrepreneur Immigration - Regional Pilot category with a minimum score of 134.

The maximum points in the Entrepreneur Stream grid are 200. 120 points candidates can get for self-declared factors such as Experience & Ownership, Net Worth, Investment, etc. Another 80 points are given for the business concept.

This year, the province invited up to 59 entrepreneurs under the BCPNP.

In the general draw, the province invited 180 candidates. The minimum score for candidates invited in this draw was 80-104 points. In addition, British Columbia invited 19 candidates under the childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202). In the Healthcare-targeted draw, BC invited 13 candidates. Additionally, less than five invitations have been issued for other priority occupations (NOCs 31103, 32104). In total, the province invited up to 217 candidates for this draw.
