On January 11, 2024, Ontario invited 2,552 candidates under the Skilled Trades Stream of the Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP).
The CRS score range of the invited candidates was between 350-424 points. Candidates who created their profiles in the Express Entry system between January 11, 2023, and January 11, 2024, were considered by OINP in this draw for 49 NOCs.
Candidates who received a notification of interest do not need to contact the program and can apply to the stream. In 2024, the province invited 4,003 candidates under all OINP`s streams.

On January 10, 2024, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held the first Express Entry draw of 2024 and issued 1,510 Invitations to Apply (ITA). In this draw, IRCC continued inviting candidates under all immigration programs.
In round #279, the cut-off score was 546 points, four points more than the previous General draw. The tie-breaking rule for this round was December 31, 2023, at 18:23:22 UTC.
As of January 9, 2024, there were 212,157 profiles registered in the Express Entry pool. Last year, Canada issued 110,266 ITAs through Express Entry.

On January 9, 2024, the Government of Ontario held two draws in the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream (EJO FW) Stream of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).
The province issued 821 targeted invitations to apply (ITAs) to tech and healthcare occupations and 630 ITAs for skilled trades workers.
The minimum scores for these draws were 40 and 33, respectively. All invitees have profiles created between January 9, 2023, and January 9, 2024.
So far, the province invited 1,451 candidates under the OINP in 2024.

On December 29, 2023, the Government of Manitoba held the 21st draw for Ukrainian candidates.
The province invited 89 candidates through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) in this draw.
To be eligible, applicants must be Ukrainian citizens, have a minimum of CLB 4 in each language band, have connections to the province (close relative, community ties, previous employment, or studies in Manitoba), and score at least 60 points in the EOI registration points-grid,
and possess a valid language test in one of the official languages. In total, the province invited 16,306 candidates in 2023, including 501 Ukrainian nationals.
