On April 23, 2024, the Government of British Columbia held new invitation draws under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) and issued invitations to apply to qualified candidates in tech, healthcare, childcare, construction, and veterinary care occupations.
In the tech draw, the province invited 45 candidates.
The minimum score for candidates invited in this draw was 120 points. BC issued 11 ITAs to candidates under the childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202).
In the Healthcare-targeted draw, British Columbia invited 19 candidates who scored 100 points.
The province also issued 11 invitations to candidates working in the construction sector.
Furthermore, up to five invitations have been issued to candidates working in veterinary care occupations. British Columbia issued up to 91 ITAs in this draw.
This year, the province has already invited up to 2,850 candidates.

On April 24, 2024, Manitoba held a new invitation round in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).
In round #215, the MPNP invited 203 applicants under the Completed post-secondary study in Manitoba selection with a minimum score of 811.
In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, MPNP issued 58 LAAs to candidates invited under the Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
The lowest score in the SWO category was 644 points, 69 points fewer than in the previous draw. In addition, 66 invitations were issued in the International Education Stream.
In this round, Manitoba has issued LAAs to 327 candidates, including 68 Express Entry candidates. In 2024, MPNP invited 2,225 candidates, and 297 of them received invitations in the Express Entry.

On April 23, 2024, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued invitations to candidates in the new Express Entry draw.
In this round, 2,095 invitations to apply (ITAs) were sent out in the General Express Entry draw #294. Candidates were required to have a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 529, which was 20 points fewer than the previous general draw.
The tie-breaking rule for this draw was set for November 08, 2023, at 17:50:29 UTC. As of April 23, 2024, 214,697 profiles were registered in the Express Entry pool. Canada has issued 34,570 ITAs through 16 Express Entry draws throughout the year.

On April 23, 2024, the Government of Ontario held two draws in the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream (EJO FW) Stream of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).
The province issued 209 targeted invitations to apply (ITAs) to skilled trades occupations and two ITAs for Economic Mobility Pathways Project candidates.
The minimum score for skilled trades candidates was 53.
All invitees have profiles created between April 23, 2023, and April 23, 2024. So far, the province invited 25,963 candidates under the OINP in 2024.
