On December 20, 2023, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held the second round of invitations in the Express Entry system for newcomers with work experience in transport occupations.
Express Entry draw #277 was the third consecutive draw of the week, and 670 Invitations to Apply (ITA) were issued to skilled workers with work experience in the transport sector.
In this draw, the cut-off score was 435 points. The tie-breaking rule for this round was August 30, 2023, at 17:30:21 UTC.
As of December 20, 2023, there are 208,638 profiles registered in the Express Entry pool. In 2023, Canada issued 109,866 ITAs through the Express Entry draws.

On December 19, 2023, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held the second occupation-specific Express Entry draw and issued 1,000 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to candidates working in one of the skilled trades occupations.
In round #276, the cut-off score was 425, 37 points more than the previous draw for this category-based selection.
The tie-breaking rule for this round was November 04, 2023, at 11:16:58 UTC. As of December 17, 2023, there were 208,638 profiles registered in the Express Entry pool.
This year, Canada issued 109,196 ITAs through the Express Entry draws.

On December 19, 2023, British Columbia issued new invitations in the Skilled Worker – International Graduate categories of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP).
In the Tech-targeted draw, BC issued 107 invitations with a minimum score of 95 points. In the Childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202), the province invited 62 candidates who scored 60 points. In the Healthcare-targeted draw, the province issued 29 invitations.
Additionally, the province invited 32 candidates working in the construction sector. The province invited 230 candidates with a score of 60-95 points. Including this draw, in 2023, British Columbia has already issued 10,150 invitations.

On December 18, 2023, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 1,325 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to candidates under the Express Entry draw #275.
In this draw, IRCC invited candidates under all immigration programs
. In the latest round of invitations, the cut-off score was 542 points, 19 points fewer than in the previous all-program draw.
