On February 13, 2024, the Government of British Columbia held new invitation draws under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) and issued invitations to apply to qualified candidates in tech, healthcare, childcare, construction, and veterinary care occupations.
In the tech draw, the province invited 77 candidates. The minimum score for candidates invited in this draw was 108 points.
BC issued 54 ITAs to candidates under the childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202). In the Healthcare-targeted draw, British Columbia invited 41 candidates who scored 60 points.
The province also issued 27 invitations to candidates working in the construction sector.
Furthermore, up to five invitations have been issued to candidates working in veterinary care occupations. British Columbia issued up to 204 ITAs in the sixth draw of 2024.
This year, the province has already invited up to 1,426 candidates.

On February 13, 2024, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held a new Express Entry draw and issued 1,490 Invitations to Apply (ITA).
In this draw, IRCC continued inviting candidates under all immigration programs. In round #283, the cut-off score was 535 points, six points fewer than the previous draw.
The tie-breaking rule for this round was February 11, 2023, at 15:26:56 UTC. As of February 11, 2024, there were 211,273 profiles registered in the Express Entry pool.
This year, Canada issued 11,770 ITAs through Express Entry.

On February 12, 2024, Alberta published an update on the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) inventory.
According to the new update, there were around 5,093 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications, 1,477 Rural Renewal Stream applications, and 766 Alberta Express Entry Stream applications.
In addition, on January 30 and February 6, 2024, the AAIP invited 22 and 44 candidates under the Dedicated Healthcare Pathway, respectively.
On February 1, 2024, the province invited 80 candidates working in construction occupations. This year, Alberta invited 254 candidates through the AAIP streams.

On February 8, 2024, Manitoba held the latest invitation round #210 in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).
In the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream, the MPNP invited 151 candidates under the Close relative in Manitoba selection with a minimum score of 619.
In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, MPNP issued 48 LAAs to candidates invited under the Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
The lowest score in the SWO category was 713 points. Finally, 83 invitations were issued in the International Education Stream. In this round, Manitoba has issued LAAs to 282 candidates, including 26 Express Entry candidates.
This year, MPNP invited 1,097 candidates, and 128 of them received invitations in the Express Entry.
