Ontario issued 528 NOIs in the new OINP Tech Draw

On April 13, 2021, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued 528 targeted Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to candidates under the Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream. The OINP Tech Draws are aimed mainly at candidates in six following technical occupations: NOC 2173 Software engineers and designers, NOC 2174 Computer programmer and interactive media developers, NOC 2147 Computer engineers, NOC 2175 Web designers and developers, NOC 2172 Database analysts and data administrators, and NOC 0213 Computer and information systems managers. The CRS score range of this round was 456-467 points. This year, OINP invited 1,714 candidates in two Tech Draws. Manitoba invited 243 candidates in draw #112

On April 8, 2021, Manitoba held a new invitation round in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In round #112, MPNP issued 208 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream. The minimum score to get the LAA in this category was 456 points, 33 points higher compared to draw #110. In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, Manitoba issued 14 LAAs. The lowest score in the SWO category was 708 points, 3 points fewer than in the previous draw. In addition, Manitoba invited 21 candidates in the International Education Category. In total, Manitoba issued LAAs to 243 candidates, including 15 Express Entry candidates. MPNP has invited 1,870 candidates in 2021 and 155 of them received invitations in the Express Entry.

Saskatchewan issued 279 ITAs in the SINP

On April 8, 2021, Saskatchewan conducted a new round of invitations in the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP). SINP issued 279 invitations to apply (ITAs) for the provincial nomination. In the Express Entry category, Saskatchewan issued 146 ITAs. Another 133 invitations were issued to the Occupations In-Demand category candidates. The lowest score in both categories was 70 points, the same as in the previous draw. All invited candidates had Educational Credential Assessments. In this draw, Saskatchewan invited candidates in 58 different NOCs. BCPNP invited 80 high-tech specialists in the Tech Pilot

On April 6, 2021, British Columbia conducted a new draw for candidates in the Tech Pilot of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). In this round, the government invited 80 high-tech specialists to apply for the provincial nomination in four categories: Skills Immigration - Skilled Worker, Skills Immigration - International Graduate, Express Entry British Columbia - Skilled Worker, and Express Entry British Columbia - International Graduate. All candidates scored 80 points or higher. British Columbia invited 592 Tech Pilot candidates this year.
