Thunder Bay issued 52 new community recommendations under the RNIP

Thunder Bay, ON, released new results of the issuance of the community recommendations in the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP). In this round, the city recommended 4 candidates in the NOC 0, 2 candidates in the NOC A, 36 candidates in the NOC B, 7 candidates in the NOC C, and 3 candidates in the NOC D. Among them, the Community Economic Development Commission (CEDC) of Thunder Bay recommended 8 Cooks (NOC 6322), 3 Chefs (NOC 6321), 3 Cleaners (NOC 673 minor category) and 2 Security Guards (NOC 6541). The city also issued 4 recommendations for ‘Any Sector’ occupations for Thunder Bay residents only. Canada issued 4,500 ITAs in the Express Entry draw for CEC candidates

On July 22, 2021, the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted a new Express Entry draw. In program-specific draw #198, Canada issued 4,500 Invitations to Apply for permanent residence in Canada in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) Program. The lowest score was 357 points, 12 points less than in the previous program-specific draw. The tie-breaking rule for this round was February 14, 2021 at 09:04:15 UTC. Ontario held a new draw for French-Speaking Skilled Workers

On July 21, 2021, the Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP) conducted a new draw in the French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream (FSSW). In this round, the province issued 115 Notifications of Interest (NOI). The Express Entry score range of invited candidates in this intake was between 461 and 467 points. The Express Entry profiles of those candidates were created between July 21, 2020 and July 21, 2021. OINP already invited 489 Francophone candidates to apply for the nomination of Ontario this year. Sudbury considered 3 applications in the Rural and Northern Pilot

On July 21, 2021, the City of Greater Sudbury held a new round of invitations in the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP). In this round, Sudbury considered 3 candidates, 1 more than in the June 4 draw. The lowest score of this draw was 260 points, 5 points fewer than in the previous draw. The last applicant in this draw was considered on July 16, 2021. In 2020, Sudbury invited 42 candidates, and in total, 54 individuals were recommended by the city since the launch of the program.
