Manitoba conducted unexpected MPNP draw #117

On June 1, 2021, Manitoba released the results of the unexpected draw in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP), which occurred two days after round #116. In this draw, the province invited only candidates in the Skilled Workers Overseas stream. In total MPNP issued 404 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA). The lowest score in this draw was 601 points, 102 points fewer compared to the previous draw. All invited candidates who have been invited in draw #117 were Express Entry candidates. OINP invited 758 new skilled trades candidates

On June 1, 2021, Ontario invited 986 candidates in the Skilled Trades Stream of the Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP). All invitees have their profiles created in the Express Entry system between June 1, 2020, and June 1, 2021. The CRS score range of the invited candidates was 300-379. This was the second draw in the OINP Skilled Trades Stream in 2021. On January 13, Ontario issued 338 Notifications of Interest in this stream. Last year, OINP issued 1,464 NOIs in the Skilled Trades Stream and nominated 1,106 candidates. Express Entry CeC class

Well today a real surprise. Immigration Canada had a new Express Entry CEC draw. Monday. Wow!!!! So, keeping up with the current trend of either Canadian Experience Class (CEC) or Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) once again the focus is not on overseas Draw number #190 on May 31st we see a draw of 5956 ITA under CEC with a minimum score of 380. This current trend may continue for the next month and will likely look at changing into late June or Early July I expect.

Quebec invited 90 persons in the fourth round of Arrima in 2021

On May 27, 2021, the Quebec Ministry of Immigration (MIFI) published the results of the fourth invitation round in Quebec’s online system Arrima conducted in 2021. MIFI invited 90 candidates to apply for a Quebec Selection Certificate under the Quebec Skilled Worker Program. Candidates invited in this round either had a validated offer of employment in the province or are specific foreigners mentioned in Section 26 of the Quebec Immigration Regulation such as diplomats, the staff of the intergovernmental organizations, consular officers, and diplomats. Last year, Quebec invited 628 persons through the Arrima. Since the launch of Arrima in July 2019, the government of Quebec invited 3,166 foreign nationals in 17 draws to apply for immigration to Quebec. #MIFI, #Quebec, #Arrima, #QSW
