Canada invited 649 candidates under the International Experience Canada

Over the last week, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held new rounds of invitations in the pools of the International Experience Canada (IEC) program. From June 21 to June 25 Canada invited 649 young foreigners to apply for an IEC open work permit. As of June 25, there are 18,127 candidates registered in the pool, waiting for the invitation. In this round, there were 36 ITAs for Australia, 2 ITAs for Belgium, 16 ITAs for Chile, 8 ITAs for Costa Rica, 12 ITAs for the Czech Republic, 6 ITAs for Denmark, 177 ITAs for France, 129 ITAs for Germany, 4 ITAs for Greece, 5 ITAs for Hong Kong, 64 ITAs for Ireland, 1 ITA for Italy, 18 ITAs for Japan, 40 ITAs for South Korea, 13 ITAs for the Netherlands, 9 ITAs for New Zealand, 1 ITA for Norway, 5 ITAs for Portugal, 7 ITAs for Slovakia, 11 ITAs for Spain, 5 ITAs for Sweden, 2 ITAs for Switzerland, 16 ITAs for Taiwan, and 62 ITAs for the United Kingdom. Canada issued 6,000 ITAs in the Express Entry draw for CEC candidates

On June 24, 2021, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted a new Express Entry draw. In program-specific draw #194, Canada issued 6,000 Invitations to Apply for permanent residence in Canada in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) Program. The lowest score was 357 points, 11 points fewer than in the previous CEC-specific round. The tie-breaking rule for this round was February 17, 2021 at 10:15:50 UTC. In 2021, Canada already issued 82,653 invitations in the CEC program-specific invitation rounds. Canada invited 1,002 provincial nominees in the Express Entry draw #193

On June 23, 2021, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted a new Express Entry invitation round. In this draw, IRCC invited candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program. IRCC issued Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to 1,002 provincial candidates, and the lowest score in this draw was 742 points, 31 points more than in the previous PNP-specific draw. The tie-breaking rule for this round February 18, 2021 at 04:04:56 UTC. As of June 23, 2021, there were 166,246 profiles in the system. Quebec invited 69 candidates in the fourth round of Arrima in 2021

On June 17, 2021, the Quebec Ministry of Immigration (MIFI) published the results of the fifth invitation round in Quebec’s online system Arrima conducted in 2021. MIFI invited 69 candidates to apply for a Quebec Selection Certificate under the Quebec Skilled Worker Program. Candidates invited in this round either had a validated offer of employment in the province or are specific foreigners mentioned in Section 26 of the Quebec Immigration Regulation such as diplomats, the staff of the intergovernmental organizations, consular officers, and diplomats. In 2021, MIFI already issued 545 invitations. Last year, Quebec invited 628 persons through the Arrima.
