Sudbury considered 3 applications in the Rural and Northern Pilot

On July 21, 2021, the City of Greater Sudbury held a new round of invitations in the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP). In this round, Sudbury considered 3 candidates, 1 more than in the June 4 draw. The lowest score of this draw was 260 points, 5 points fewer than in the previous draw. The last applicant in this draw was considered on July 16, 2021. In 2020, Sudbury invited 42 candidates, and in total, 54 individuals were recommended by the city since the launch of the program. Saskatchewan issued 280 ITAs in the SINP

On July 21, 2021, Saskatchewan conducted a new round of invitations in the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP). SINP issued 280 invitations to apply (ITAs) for the provincial nomination. In the Express Entry category, Saskatchewan issued 84 ITAs. Another 196 invitations were issued to the Occupations In-Demand category candidates. The lowest score in both categories was 77 points, 3 points fewer than in the previous draw. All invited candidates had Educational Credential Assessments. In this draw, Saskatchewan invited candidates in 63 different NOCs. Canada invited 462 provincial nominees in the Express Entry draw #197

On July 21, 2021, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted a new Express Entry draw. Draw #197 targeted candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program. IRCC invited 462 provincial candidates, and the cut-off score in this round was 734 points, 26 points less compared to the previous PNP-specific draw that occurred on July 7. The tie-breaking rule for this round was April 11, 2021, at 13:01:45 UTC. As of July 19, 2021, there are 167,244 profiles registered in the pool, 393 more compared to the previous update. Alberta invited 181 candidates and updated the AINP inventory

On July 20, 2021, Alberta published the update of the inventory of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). Currently, there are around 1,375 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications and 300 Expressions of Interest in the Alberta Express Entry pool. In addition, on July 14, 2021, Alberta held a new round in the Alberta Express Entry Stream and issued 181 Notifications of Interest (NOI). The lowest score in this round was 301 points, one point fewer than in the previous draw.
