actions that reinforced the integrity of the immigration system. Officers removed nearly 19,000 foreign nationals for Immigration and Refugee Protection Act violations, including 841 cases involving serious inadmissibility related to national security, organized crime, and human rights violations.

The agency also identified 35,608 inadmissible individuals at U.S. land border entry points who subsequently withdrew their applications.

CBSA completed security screenings for more than 61,960 asylum claimants, and its global liaison officers intervened in 5,889 cases to prevent potentially inadmissible passengers from boarding Canada-bound flights.
