New measures for foreign nationals with expired or expiring post-graduation work permits and applicants to the temporary resident to permanent resident pathways
24th, Feb 2022
On February 23, 2022, New Brunswick announced the new immigration pathway for truckers.
The New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) has launched a new pathway specific to NOC 7511 to develop the transportation industry in the province and attract well-qualified truck drivers.
Employers who want to hire foreign nationals should apply to the Temporary Foreign Worker Program and acquire a positive Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA).
Both truck drivers and employers must meet eligibility requirements to be eligible to participate in the program.
