LMIA Work Permits in Winnipeg: What Employers and Foreign Workers Need to Know

On January 10, 2022, the Government of Canada introduced a new program delivery update for Post-graduation work permit (PGWP) eligibility requirements.
According to the new instructions for a post-graduation work permit,
if an applicant took a period of leave that was authorized by their designated learning institution (DLI) at any time during their studies,
they must include documentation proving the leave was authorized by the DLI to be eligible for PGWP. If needed, officers may request additional documents to complete their assessment.
