LMIA Work Permits in Winnipeg: What Employers and Foreign Workers Need to Know

On November 23, 2021, the Government of Canada introduced a new delivery update for the Immigration Loans Program (ILP).
The new instructions include the new immigration loan cap that does not exceed CAN$15,000 when travel is booked through the assistance of the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
Before the update, the loan cap was CAN$10,000.
The Government also referred to the new Resettlement and Asylum Strategic Operations Branch (RASO) and updated the information regarding the Resettlement Assistance Program (RAP) contributions as well as transportation loan procedures.
