Express Entry PNP draw

Hello everyone.

Well today Immigration Canada had its latest draw under Express Entry and was limited to PNP as it usually is on the Wednesday draw.

Today draw is the 17 express entry draw of the year under PNP and was limited to 635 persons getting a ITA(invitation to Apply).

The lowest score today was 764 which is not hard to get as a nomination from a Province automatically gives the applicant 600 points.

Canada surpassed the US in the number of Chinese immigrants

For the first time in history, Canada surpassed the US and became the country of choice for Chinese people to immigrate overseas. According to Baidu's "2021 China Immigration Industry Data Report", among the destinations for immigrants in the world, the US has always been the most popular destination for immigration. Since the US is tightening its immigration policies, Canada has proposed a three-year plan to recruit over 400,000 immigrants annually that made more people, as well as Chinese turn to Canada. #US, #China, #Chinese_immigrants https://canadaimmigrants.com/chinese-immigrants-to-canada/

Federal election 2021 and its impact on immigration

Traditionally, during election campaigns, immigration, particularly the amount of immigration is discussed by the parties.

However, in the 2021 election campaign, immigration is not an issue to discuss. Looking at the three major parties, the Conservative Party has announced a few ideas they want to develop in the Canadian immigration system.

However, the Liberals and NDP haven’t said anything on this issue.

The Liberal Government increased immigration targets to over 400,000 for the next three years, and it seems the party that wins the election will follow this policy.
