Canadian Provincial Immigration Sees Turbulent Shifts in 2025

On September 1, 2023, the City of Greater Sudbury held a new round of invitations in the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP). In this round, Sudbury considered 62 candidates.
The lowest score of these draws was 220 points, 20 points fewer than in the previous draw. So far, the city has considered 292 candidates in 2023. Last year, Sudbury invited a total of 154 applicants.
Since the program's launch, the city has recommended at least 462 individuals under the RNIP.
