On April 9, 2024, Manitoba held a new invitation round in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In draw #214, the MPNP held a new occupation-specific candidate selection under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba (SWM) stream and invited 276 applicants.

In this draw, the province invited candidates currently employed in Manitoba in high-demand occupations. In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, MPNP issued 87 LAAs to candidates invited under the Strategic Recruitment Initiative.

The lowest score in the SWO category was 691 points, 77 points more than in the previous draw. In this round, Manitoba has issued LAAs to 363 candidates, including 81 Express Entry candidates.

In 2024, MPNP invited 1,898 candidates, and 229 of them received invitations in the Express Entry.
