Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted a new Express Entry draw specifically targeting Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates. The move continues the government's strategy to bolster provincial workforce needs.

On August 4, 2026, the department issued 507 invitations to qualified candidates. These individuals, already nominated by provinces, are now one step closer to securing permanent residence status in Canada.

The PNP draw represents a targeted approach to immigration, allowing provinces to select candidates who meet their specific labor market requirements. This latest round maintains the ongoing cadence of IRCC's efforts to invite skilled immigrants to settle across various regions.
