Preparing for Canada Immigration Reforms: Express Entry Guidance for Applicants in Winnipeg

On August 31, 2021, British Columbia held two invitation rounds in the Skills Immigration (SI) and Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC) categories of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP).
In the general draw, BC invited 467 individuals. The lowest scores have dropped as follows: • Skills Immigration - Skilled Worker 90 (-1 point) • Skills Immigration - International Graduate 77 (-1 point) • Skills Immigration - Entry Level and Semi-Skilled 69 (-4 points) • Express Entry British Columbia - Skilled Worker 86 (-2 points) • Express Entry British Columbia - International Graduate 75 (-1 point)
The second round of the day targeted only candidates in NOC 0621 - Retail and Wholesale Trade Managers and NOC 0631 - Restaurant and Food Service Managers. BCPNP issued 21 invitations for those candidates.
The lowest score for those candidates was 106 points, the same as in the previous draw. In total, British Columbia issued 8,093 ITAs under the BCPNP in 2021.
