On March 1, 2022, Alberta published the update of the inventory of the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP).

According to the update, there were around 375 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications and 950 Expressions of Interest in the Alberta Express Entry pool. In 2021, the province issued all 6,250 nomination certificates to eligible applicants and invited 6,608 Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination in the Alberta Express Entry.

In 2022, Alberta has already issued invitations to 1,000 candidates.
