Alberta released the results of the recent Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) immigration draws. On May 1, 2026, the province invited 12 candidates under the Rural Renewal Stream with a minimum score of 50.
On May 6, 2026, Alberta issued 832 invitations through the Alberta Opportunity Stream with a minimum score of 54. Additionally, Alberta invited 207 Express Entry candidates through targeted pathways.
On May 7, 2026, the province invited 146 candidates under the Accelerated Tech Pathway with a minimum score of 57. On May 13, 2026, Alberta issued 61 invitations through the Dedicated Health Care Pathway – Express Entry with a minimum score of 57. In total, the province has invited 1,051 candidates in these draws. So far, Alberta has invited 5,862 candidates through the AAIP streams in 2026.
