Canadian Provincial Immigration Sees Turbulent Shifts in 2025

On October 23, 2025, Alberta released the results of the recent Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) immigration draws.
On October 8 and 10, 2025, the province invited 46 Express Entry candidates and 41 non-Express Entry candidates under the Dedicated Health Care Pathway, respectively.
On October 15 and 16, Alberta conducted draws under the Alberta Express Entry – Priority Sectors stream and invited 10 candidates working in the agriculture sector and 13 professionals in aviation.
The October 21 draw invited 89 candidates under the Alberta Express Entry Stream – Accelerated Tech Pathway, with a minimum score of 60. So far, Alberta has invited 7,108 candidates through the AAIP streams this year.
