On August 9, 2021, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) published new nomination issuance statistics. In June 2021, the province nominated 514 skilled workers, 1 business candidate, and approved 2 business concepts. In July, MPNP nominated 419 skilled workers. Manitoba refused 1 business concept in June. The province also refused 1 profile of skilled worker and 1 business concept in July. MPNP invited 1,300 skilled workers, 3 business candidates and approved 11 business concepts in June, while in July it sent LAAs to 1,791 skilled workers, 3 business candidates, and approved 5 business concepts. MPNP received 470 applications from skilled workers and 1 application from a business candidate in June and 626 applications from skilled workers and 1 application from a business candidate in July.
