26th, Nov 2021
Since August 9, 2021, the Government of Canada has eased travel restrictions by allowing fully vaccinated travellers to enter the country for non-essential purposes, without having to go through quarantine upon arrival.
In October, New data Statistics Canada released a report that indicated 263,400 non-residents arrived in the country in one month, 14 times more than the same period last year.
114,200 of those travellers came from the United States and 149,200 from different countries.
Under the new rules, anyone entering the country must be fully vaccinated with Health Canada-approved vaccines and show proof of a negative PCR test result taken within 72 hours before their flight.
