He also highlighted the ‘National Francophone Immigration Week' as an opportunity to recognize the importance of Francophone immigration.’
Considering in-demand occupations in the labour market, in May 2021, Canada announced parallel pathways for Francophone candidates under the temporary resident to permanent resident stream.
