New measures for foreign nationals with expired or expiring post-graduation work permits and applicants to the temporary resident to permanent resident pathways
12th, Nov 2021
According to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), in the parents’ and grandparents’ sponsorship applications, applicants’ health condition is a critical factor in determining admissibility.
If an applicant’s health condition causes an excessive demand on Canada’s health or social services, the probability of these applications’ rejection increases.
Foreign nationals coming to Canada for more than six months must submit an immigration medical exam, done by a designated panel physician.
This is so IRCC can determine whether the foreign national is medically admissible.
