1st, Dec 2021
Chinese woman in Toronto applied for family reunification immigration for her father but unexpectedly, her father was diagnosed with hepatitis.
The applicant was unable to forfeit public health care services at her own expense, so her application was rejected. She appealed to the rejection, the court rejected her appeal after in-depth consideration as the father had family support in China, and he could get good medical care there.
Therefore, there was no reason to give humanitarian and compassionate help to the father.
