New measures for foreign nationals with expired or expiring post-graduation work permits and applicants to the temporary resident to permanent resident pathways
30th, Nov 2021
Starting from December 1, 2021, new vaccination requirements for air, rail, and marine travellers to limit the risk of spreading COVID-19
will come into effective and all travellers using Canada's federally-regulated modes of transportation will have to demonstrate that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
The new requirements are applicable to the federally regulated transportation sector that includes VIA Rail and Rocky Mountaineer trains, Canada’s all airports, and passenger vessels engaged in voyages of 24 hours or more.
Those travelling by road transportation, such as buses, are not subject to this policy.
