On April 7, 2022, the Government of Canada published a new update for Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP).
The Government updated instructions for procedures at the Centralized Intake Office for applications for Non-Express Entry applicants applying under AIP’s permanent resident (PR) Economic class program.
In addition, Canada introduced new instructions for processing and assessing applications, admissibility, and examination before granting permanent residence.
AIP came into force on January 1, 2022, and started accepting applications of skilled foreign workers and international graduates from Canadian institutions.
