New measures for foreign nationals with expired or expiring post-graduation work permits and applicants to the temporary resident to permanent resident pathways
29th, Nov 2021
On November 26, 2021, the Government of Canada introduced an updated COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement Certification form for interpreter professional services contracts.
New requirements include procedures for obtaining the COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement Certification for accredited interpreters to continue their jobs.
Interpreters who cannot be vaccinated due to a medical condition, religion, or other reasons under the Canadian Human Rights Act must identify accommodation and mitigation measures for approval by the Responsibility Centre Manager (RCM).
In addition, the Government has also updated IMM 2048E form – the Professional Services Contract for Interpretation Services form.
