On March 21, 2022, Atlantic Premiers - Tim Houston, Premier of Nova Scotia, Blaine Higgs, Dennis King, and Andrew Furey met to discuss regional priorities to health care, economic recovery, cost of living, and immigration.
They have also met with Sean Fraser, federal Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship (IRCC), condemning Russia's invasion of Ukraine and expressing their solidarity with Ukraine.
Premiers also discussed the successful Atlantic Immigration Program.
Heads of provinces also stated that they would further develop partnerships with the Federal Government in areas such as immigration, labour market, workforce development, etc.
