Canadian Provincial Immigration Sees Turbulent Shifts in 2025
14th, Mar 2023
Alberta is currently in dire need of workers to fill over 100,000 job vacancies and bolster its economy.
To meet the labour shortage, the Prairie province has asked Ottawa to increase the number of immigrants it can accept through the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP).
Danielle Smith, Premier of the province, declared that AAIP would experience a significant surge over the subsequent three years.
By the end of 2025, there may be an estimated 67 percent increase in nominations. The AAIP has recently increased the immigration numbers to 9,750 nominations for 2023.
Those figures are predicted to climb even higher, with 10,140 anticipated for 2024 and approximately 10,849 for 2025. #AAIP, #labour_shortage, #Alberta, #nominations
