Canadian Provincial Immigration Sees Turbulent Shifts in 2025
17th, Sep 2021
On September 16, 2021, the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador announced that Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP) is anticipated to become permanent on March 5, 2022.
The Pilot Program was launched in 2017 and is in effect until December 31, 2021.
The Federal and Provincial Governments are in the process of finalizing the details of the permanent Atlantic Immigration Program.
Employers willing to continue availing of immigration as a means of addressing workforce shortages, and of building and growing local businesses are required to update their designation application under the permanent program.
