20th, Nov 2021
On November 18, 2021, Prince Edward Island (PEI) called nurses with international credentials to upgrade their qualifications and complete the Registered Nurse (RN) Bridging / Re-Entry Education Program to work as registered nurses in PEI.
The RN Bridging Program helps nurses integrate into the Canadian healthcare system through a mixture of courses and practice work.
Since the program began in 2019, a total of 19 nurses have completed the program. Nurses are eligible to get up to $3,750 in funding to cover their tuition.
Nurses interested in the program are advised to contact the College of Registered Nurses of PEI (CRNPEI).
