New measures for foreign nationals with expired or expiring post-graduation work permits and applicants to the temporary resident to permanent resident pathways
31st, Mar 2022
On March 30, 2022, the Government of Canada published updated instructions on how to add dependents to an existing Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) permanent residence (PR) application.
After applying for a PR under the AIP, if a principal applicant (PA) made a change in his/her family composition (got married, became a common-law partner, or had or adopted a child), he or she has to update the AIP PR application accordingly.
The applicant must send his/her add-on request through IRCC’s webform and attach the required supporting documents.
