New measures for foreign nationals with expired or expiring post-graduation work permits and applicants to the temporary resident to permanent resident pathways
4th, Apr 2022
On March 31, 2022, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has updated the processing times tool to provide more accurate information for applicants.
While before the tool showed the IRCC’s service standards under normal circumstances which were not updated regularly, now, it shows the processing times for permanent residence and citizenship services that are updated every week, based on data from the previous half-year.
The new updated tool gives more realistic and up-to-date information and reflects volumes of applications being processed.
