Canadian Provincial Immigration Sees Turbulent Shifts in 2025
25th, Apr 2023
On April 24, 2023, Sean Fraser, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), announced new immigration measures to support Sudanese temporary residents currently residing in Canada to extend their stay in the country.
Sudanese citizens can apply for an extension of their status in Canada and transition between temporary streams, enabling them to continue their visit, studies, or employment without incurring any fees.
In addition, citizens and permanent residents of Canada living in Sudan who wish to travel to Canada will also be exempt from passport and travel document fees.
