A new internal memo from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) says the ministry has yet to decide on Express Entry plans for this year but invitations for the Federal Skilled
Worker Program (FSWP) and Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates will resume "later in 2022."
The note also states that IRCC will extend the temporary pause in issuing invitations to FSWP, CEC, and Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) candidates until March 31 while continuing to issue invitations under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).
