From September 23 to October 4, 2021, the Government of Canada invited potential sponsors as well as those from the remaining pool of interest to sponsor forms submitted in 2020.

Eligible applicants have to check their email account since invitations to apply (ITAs) have been sent via email. Sponsors who received ITAs must submit their applications within 2 months.

The Government approved up to 40,000 applications — 10,000 of these applications were from the 2020 intake process, while 30,000 were from 2021.
