LMIA Work Permits in Winnipeg: What Employers and Foreign Workers Need to Know

As of January 17, 2022, the Government of Canada accepted more than 2,750 applications under the Home Child Care Provider Pilot, which has already been closed to new applications for 2022.
The Government will return additional applications and refund paid fees.
Applicants will be able to apply for this Pilot starting January 1, 2023.
The Home Support Worker Pilot still receives new applications for the 2022 cap. For this year, the Government is planning to accept up to 2,750 applications for this pilot.
