On August 27, 2025, Alberta released an update regarding the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) and the results of its recent immigration draw.

According to the new update, there were 1,876 applications to be processed and 1,407 nomination spaces remaining for 2025. The number of expressions of interest for all streams or pathways in the selection pool was 65,093.

On August 19, Alberta held a new invitation round in the Alberta Express Entry Stream – Law Enforcement Pathway and invited up to ten candidates. So far, Alberta has invited 2,766 candidates through the AAIP streams this year.
