February 1, 2024, was the last day the Sudbury RNIP program accepted RNIP applications. Any applications received after February 1, 2024, will not be considered.
On January 12, 2024, the City of Greater Sudbury held the first rounds of invitations in the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP) Program.
In this round, Sudbury considered 46 candidates, including 42 via the Conventional Stream and four through the Francophone Stream. The minimum score for these draws was 285 and 170, respectively.
Last year, Sudbury invited a total of 587 applicants. So far, the city has recommended around 670 individuals under the RNIP since the program's launch.
