Preparing for Canada Immigration Reforms: Express Entry Guidance for Applicants in Winnipeg

The Government of Canada is planning to accept more applicants under the Parents and Grandparents Program (PGP) in the coming years.
According to Canada’s latest Immigration Levels Plan, annual immigration intake through the GPG is set to rise by more than a third in the next three years.
In 2022, Ottawa will welcome 25,000 parents and grandparents, increasing this number to 28,500 in 2023, and 32,000 in 2024.
This is a 36 percent increase when compared to the 2021 target of 23,500 PGP applicants.
