Express Entry Trends in 2026 and What Winnipeg Applicants Need to Know
11th, Mar 2022
On March 10, 2022, British Columbia introduced key changes to the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) Skills Immigration stream to meet the labour needs of the province.
Effective immediately, the province will prioritize healthcare workers and early childhood educators (ECEs) to increase support for the care economy.
According to the new amendments, healthcare and dental assistants will be eligible for the Entry Level and Semi-Skilled category.
In addition, the province replaced the Health Care Professional category with the Health Authority category, which is now open to all occupations employed by a health authority.
However, management occupations will not be eligible under the International Graduates categories and will be admitted only under Skilled Worker categories.
Two years of skilled experience will make applicants eligible for the Skilled Worker category, which before required two years of directly related experience.
